 Political career

Torossian was a Betar member for ten years, as the council President from 1994-1996. He claims that Ze’ev Jabotinsky’s lessons have led him in his business and personal life. His Betar experience influenced his understanding of Judaism. While at SUNY Albany, he became an activist and champion for Jewish people, became the chairman of Religious Zionists of America, and dreamed of becoming PM of Israel. Torossian stated that perhaps the personal assaults resulted from community leaders’ opposition to his Betar philosophy and that they didn’t care about the Jewish pupils.

Ronn Torossian PR questioned Benjamin Netanyahu’s moves in 1999, including the halting of buildings and the departure of Israeli forces from areas of Hebron. Torossian assisted in organizing a rally outside of the French office in New York in 2002 to oppose the government’s indifference to anti-Semitic crimes. The event advocated banning French goods, including travel to France, undermining the French economy.
